* Exhibition titled 'Shooting The Talented', by our in-house fashion photographer Emily Quinn, exhibited at here in the studio in Harolds Cross, opening on July 8th 2011.

* Featuring Ireland's foremost fashion photographers (inc Daniel Holfield, Mike Bunn, Andreas Petterson, Agata Stoinska and many more) posed with their favoured stylist (inc Roxanne Parker, Courtney Smith, Aishling Farinella and more) in a visual exploration of the close relationship that grows between this primary creative party, over many years of collaboration.

* The exhibition is open to the public over the weekend of the 9th July from 10am to 6pm, with the opening Friday night being ticket only.

* Press features will appear in Sunday Independent and Irish Daily Mail the week prior to the launch.

This will provide an opportunity for the public to see those who are normally behind the lens, producing the exciting fashion and beauty imagery that we see every day in magazines, billboards and on TV.

Also featuring is the work of Gerry Balfe Smyth professional portrait and fashion photographer, and a series of landscape, still-life and product shots by Peter Love.

There is no other studio quite like this one, and the quality of work on display is second none, make sure and visit this weekend!

We enjoyed the company of the inimitable Angela Scanlon, and the marketing team from Awear including leading press stylist Lia Tallon, as they shot a days' worth of videos here to support their spring summer range.

Always pleased to support Irish craft producers, we shot a unique piece known as 'The History of Clondalkin' . This gold ring, incorporates 4 key features of historical signifcane in this area, the round tower and monastery amongst other. This image is a combination of 3 images and was composited and retouched by the photo retouching team from airbrushing.ie for maximum impact- all FOC.

Thanks again to the wonderful Lorna Fitzsimmons, who when not shooting for the likes of Dunnes Stores, Sasha and Magee, takes the time to educate others, through her teaching and lectures. We welcomed back some students from her class as they undertook their college projects, enojying the benefit of our discounted student rate- good luck David and Mick!

Another returnee to the studio was Susan McAdam (as seen on Fade St) who laid down a voice over track for a web video for a large electronic retailer.  The model, actress, architect has opened her own interior design business and we think she has a bright future ahead of her!

Photographer Ali King has been shooting for Style Tonic, the boutique fashion site for wonderful high-end apparel.

A big HELLO to Aishling O'Loughlin from XPOSE following her visit to the studio as her team recorded a studio shoot photo by Patrick Bolger for You Magazine, featuring TV3 Newscaster Elaine Crowley. We think you'll agree she looks out of this world.
Hopefully next time however Aisling can get the studio name right! Its Photography Studio.ie !

Thanks to local artisan and custom furniture maker, Garrett Lyons, who provided us with a couple of key pieces as we completed a renovation of our make up room.

Continuing our support of the local fashion industry, photography Emily shot new face Kelly Horrigan for Alanna Gallagher's fashion and style webzine, 'The Weekly Edit'.

Another shrewd signing by Rebecca Morgan,  and at only 15, we are certain Kelly has great things ahead of her. Shades of Karen Fitzpatrick anybody?

--NEWSFLASH--

We are pleased to announce another cutting edge photograph service we have developed in-house. We think its the first of its type in Ireland, and is definitely a coming trend, judging by the US and UK markets.  See www.360products.ie for details, or click the image below for an example.

360_model_spin_photography

This technology allows us to produce 360° spins of full length models (and products both large and small) allowing us to offer online retailers really strong promotional imagery. By allowing site visitors to rotate and interact with their merchandise, it gives their customers greater confidence in the goods being sold and a more memorable product experience.

There was a real buzz about today as we undertook another series of video castings for onlinevideo.ie
This is a video production company specialising in providing video for the web for SMEs and start ups.

There were plenty of applicants streaming through the studio, as a variety of candidates sought to guarantee their placement in the 'presenter showcase' gallery of the onlinevideo.ie website. This feature allows prospective customers to evaluate the variety of presenting talent that is on offer in order to ensure an appropriate 'match' that best represents their brand/ business.
