The Mill - a building steeped in history

Situated over the Poddle, the river that led to the founding, and naming, of Dublin (Dubh Linn - the 'black pool' where the Poddle entered the River Liffey), our recently renovated studios occupy the top floor of a 19th century linen mill. Built in 1863 by the Pim family, it once housed over 150 employees and was powered by a waterwheel and later a steam engine to drive the many cotton spinners and lathes on its four floors.
